Nature and Walking

Enjoy God's Creation

We have a beautiful facility and property that makes a nice oasis tucked away in a busy city. Whether you need a nice place to sit, walk, or take a light hike, Tusculum is a good place to spend time.

Walk Our Parking Lot Loop

You are welcome to park in our parking lot and get in your steps by walking around our facility.
  • 1 Lap = .3 Miles
  • 3 Laps = 1 Mile

After you've walked, if you need a place to sit, feel free to rest at one of the tables under our pavilion, or in a chair on the TYM porch.

Hike Our Nature Trail

At the south corner of our parking lot where it meets the property of Shayne Elementary, we have a shaded Nature Amphitheater. It's a nice place to sit, pray, and reflect. To the left of the Amphitheater is our Nature Walking Trail. It is hilly, but not especially strenuous. The trail is about .4 miles in length and exits at the northwest corner of our parking lot.

The trail is cleared, but it is not paved or mulched, so please be sure to wear good hiking shoes and check yourself for ticks or other insects when you're done. Use at your own risk. Please see the Trail Use Disclaimer below.
