Our Ministries: Making a Difference
All of our ministries are overseen by our elders. For the purposes of organization and optimization, we have structured our strategic vision into four general areas of ministry emphasis. You can see these four areas below along with some additional featured ministries.
Growth in Faith and Knowledge
These are ministries that focus especially on areas involving teaching and learning.

- Tusculum Kids. From birth to 5th Grade.
- TYM. Tusculum Youth Ministry for teens Grades 6 to 12.
- Kenekt. For young professionals.
- Deep Dive. An annual Bible study that helps kids gain a comprehensive knowledge of a particular section of Scripture.
- Men's Ministry. Creating opportunities for connections and friendship.
- Open Door. Partnering older and younger women into groups for friendship, encouragement, and mentoring.
- Life Groups. These meet at various times and locations.
- Praise Team. Singers who help us worship with excellence through their preparation and parcipation.
- Audio/Visual Ministry. Those who run our sound, visuals, and online streaming.
- Marketing and Digital Presence. Keeping our website, app, and social media fresh and up to date.

Member Care and Hospitality
These are ministries that center around caregiving and creating spaces for our members and visitors to know and support each other.

- Greeters. We welcome everyone who enters our doors.
- Open Gym Basketball. Most weeks we have open gym once per week.
- In This Together. Caring for our shut-ins.
- Hearts Ministry. Caring for our college students who are away from home.
- Moving Ministry. When our members move locations, we have a team who is glad to assist.
- New Member Integration. We want to help outsiders become insiders, and for everyone to have a place to belong.
- Gatekeepers. Our security team.
- Health and Emergency Response. Making sure we have needed equipment ready to use in case of emergencies.
- M&Ms. Our active mature members group.
- Fellowship Team. Planning regular congregational and community events.
- Finance Team. They handle our budgeting and record-keeping.
- Martha's Kitchen. Meals for shut-ins.

Local Community Outreach
These are ministries through which we love our neighbors. We want our community to be a better place to live because we are here.

- Local School Outreach. We have a variety of efforts through which we support our local schools. This includes an open gym for children to play basketball before school, support for a chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, afternoon hangouts and refreshments with the school families, a little free library at our pavilion, and many other things.
- English Classes. Wednesday nights at 7pm, we provide free English classes to the vast immigrant community around us.
- Spanish Worship. We have a Spanish worship service that meets weekly on Sundays.
- Twelve Step Groups. These meet regularly at our facility. Contact our office for more information.
- Offsite Worship. We lead worship periodically at American House Senior Living.
Foreign Missions
These are ministries whose focus is primarily on opportunities outside of our country.
- Missions Committee. A committee who works on selecting and supporting the efforts that Tusculum is involved in.
- World Bible School. A charitable entity with whom we partner to teach interested Bible students around the world.
